Front window tint opinion

Going to get some window tint and was wondering about the front window. I have a front window stip on my subaru and really like it, however I'm not sure if I want it on the mini. What do you think; should I get the tint that runs along the top of the front windshield? What strip width would you get...since the window is not the high?

i have that same strip on my civic. i'm going to get my windows tinted when i get my mini, but at first i'm going to not get the strip since i read it's hard to see red lights if the mini is the first call in line. once i have my mini and drive for a while i might decide to get the strip later, if i do get it i will get it the darkest you can get and as far down as you can get. i think the legal length you can get is 8 inches down and you can get limo tint for it.

since it's a hatchback car, i wish it was legal to get the 3 back windows limo tinted like you can on SUVs and trucks.

well it all depends on how low you want it. some tint shops will just put watever will look good. not TOO low and not too little. and you also have to worry about the arch it makes. here's pictures.
(sorry for just posting your pictures without asking. )

and here's where it's striaght and not very arch-y..(?)

there you go. hopefully this helps a little..or at least somewhat..

oh and also..the legal limit for the strip all depends on wat state you live in..
most likely it should either be 6" or to the AS1 line.
here's a good link to take a look at.

Does anyone make a graduated tint, one that goes form darker at the top to lighter at the bottom?
