MBE after CR&PW gets his finished I will get a little something together with pics of both our purses well the purse really isn't his, thankfully, it is for his fiancee & send it to MC2

So did the wings have those little plastic thingies on them that stick out (& had to be cut off before putting on the purse)

 

Yep, two little plastic thingies that hold it in place on the bonnet and boot. Hard to believe just those two things and some not-so-tacky adhesive is all that holds those badges onto our bonnets as we're flying down the highways.

They were easy to remove with a utility knife, came off flush to the surface.

The curve of the badges doesn't match that fender purse exactly either, but there was enough of the badge that was flush against the medal to hold it on, with the help of some krazy glue gel.

Roxanne loves the purse, so thanks again for pointing me in the direction of that website!

 

Glad she likes it. Don't worry about the wings coming off. The wings I bought were used (hopefully not stolen as they were bought off EBay) & I didn't even put new adhesive tape on them. I just stuck them on & they have never budged in 2 years
