Looks like a scam...
I've seen this car on the forum before, but the asking price in the auction is too good to be true. Check out the link and respond.....

Wow, that was fast! Basically, it was someone trying to sell a 2003 CR/B MCS with "245 HP" for a 'buy-it-now' price of only $2,900! The car had black Rota wheels and tinted windows, with CR dash and door panels. Sorry it's not there anymore; kinda interesting.
Here's a pic I had saved on my own computer(in my folder of nice cars), which happened to be the EXACT car in the auction! I'm sorry if I find this odd/interesting, but I was recently the recipient of attempted Ebay fraud involving a vehicle I had for sale, and I don't want to see anybody else get taken!
I AM a victim of an eBay fraud scheme. It was a Classic Mini though. If anyone is ever scammed via the Internet, go to www.ic3.gov - the Internet Crime Complaint Center - a joint effort of the FBI and the National White Collar Crime Center and file a complaint.
These criminals are con artists. They know just how to suck people in. I felt really stupid for falling for it but I now know of at least FIFTY other people fell for this EXACT scam. Somehow I'll get my $4500 worth. If by nothing else it will be by warning others.
If it seems to good to be true, it probably is. Calm yourself down and don't get sucked in. It happens! I'm sorry to say to people like us...like ME!

MINI's have been a favorite target of the fraudsters for the past few months. They're usually pretty obvious for being way too good to be true, and often use the same car photos. Some will actually use a 'legit' MINI VIN#, but the price will be out of whack. Also, there will usually be a seperate way to contact the 'seller' - rather than using the contact the seller link through eBay.
At the bottom of every auction page is a link to "Report this Item" to eBay, and is usually the best way to get these taken down ASAP. As an employee of PayPal and someone who was recently looking for a MINI on eBay - I came across these quite often as of late. Don't get caught up in their game, and ask yourself if it makes sense?
