Interesting video. A GP on the 'Ring but shows a standard S wrecked. What's the connection?

I assumed it was just a shot showing a MINI on the 'ring and then it shows what he did to his car. I couldn't find any info on the clip or poster.

The speeds needed to dent up the MINI that much must have been very high. It faired well for not having a weld in cage. I was trying to figure out what the crash was like. Looks like it was a front end hit to something, like a low wall, then the car rolled hard onto the passenger side; maybe even flying over the wall. Any ideas?

I've rolled my MINI before at about 15mph (details upon request) and it only had dented panels and a cracked windshield, no airbag deployment. Obviously at the ring he would have been going faster, but even after my low speed roll I knew this car was solid. Lesser cars would have collapsed and killed me. The aftermath of this fast crash at the ring is further proof of how well made these cars are.

I'm guessing the GP on the Ring and the wrecked R53 had nothing to do with each other and I'd venture to say the R53 probably didn't even crash at the Ring.
