I've been reading about Alonso and Honda agreeing to a 2 year deal. I also think it could work, Brawn's used to the driver heirarchy thing, so he'd be comfortable with giving Alonso the star treatment, but I wonder whether even with him there Honda will be more than mid-pack. It took several seasons at Ferrari before they were consistantly front runners, but I think Alonso will help speed the process, just like Michael did for Ferrari.

I agree. Didn't Alonso say he wouldn't announce anything before December? Well, it's December!

On another note... Anyone know anything about when Canadian GP tix go on sale?

McLaren gets their heads handed to them for being in possession of ferrari technical information.

Renault get a slap on the wrist for being in possession of McLaren technical information.

TRY to convince me that Ferrari doesn't OWN the Fathead International Association!

Maybe it's because Renault is French.

If they got only a slap on the wrist, I suppose the next announcement will be that Alonso is joining Renault for next year.

I was thinking the same thing. That Fred was waiting to see what was going to happen.

Pretty soon. I think we're still dealing with the dregs of 2007 for a bit.

Once Alonso chooses a team, let's start a 2008 thread.

Back to Renault's slap on the wrist, a new theory: If Renault got a huge penalty as McLaren did, they quite possibly would have dropped out of F1. With Prodrive's effort not starting in 2008, the F1 grid would have been short 2 cars compared to this year and would have lost a major manufacturer.
