I just got my CG-Lock today and installed it. It's in my daily driver/autocross MCS.

Has anyone noticed any fraying or wear on the seatbelt webbing as a result of using the CG-Lock? It just seems like running the webbing back and forth through the channel on the lock when I fasten and unfasten the belt is likely to wear it prematurely. And yes, I've moved the clip to the unlocked position.

Shouldn't do anything of the sort. I've run one probably longer than anyone and when I took it off, there's was no difference. Keep in mind, it has to be DOT approved, so I don't think it will cause any long term affects.

Nope... I got lazy and left mine on after the All MINI Track Day in January... no problems!
