How many of you mini motorers have raced ur mini against other cars and what have you beaten? Are there any mods that have given you the edge?(please do tell)

• 4th in "BS" class (BMWCCA autocross) ahead of 2003 M3, a couple M Roadsters. Randy Webb was #1 that day (like most days)

I raced my MINI during the 2002 and 2003 seasons. The MINI was my introduction to competitive driving in a controlled environment. Props to the Rocky Mountain Chapter of BMWCCA for welcoming the MINI with open arms.

The best "mod" was seat time IMO, followed by the rear sway.

 

there are drags every weekend out here at fire bird raceway....it's pretty kewl...I have eaten my fair share of cars....it's nice...heh heh....I have a pulley, exhaust, CAI,....that helps alot...also I had a wednesday build Mini...I.E. STOCK 162 WHP ...LOL...that equates to 181 crank HP STOCK!...LOL..most JCW cars are 176 WHP if they are lucky (using a 12% drive line loss from 200 hp) so it was fun cause I could eat them up with a stock MCS ...let alone now with the mods....mustangs, a few vets...and lots of other american muscle have fallen to my MCS...I can't wait till I get the motor finished...LOL...ooooooo the things I have in store....moooo haw haw haaawwwwww!
