Made the trek for the 2 day event at Chuckwalla this past weekend and had a grand ole time! Had an instructor for my first session of the first day since it was my first time on this track. I think my best time that day was about 2:20-ish. Meh. My goal for the second day was to whittle it down to 2:15. Asked for an instructor for my first session of the second day to see where I can improve. He gave me so much good info: Better lines for a momentum car, techniques so I could actually feel the car rotate in key turns, where I can carry more speed. It was so awesome! So, after practicing everything he gave, which resulted in quite a few off track adventures (I'll have that video later, lots of editing to do), I took my best time down to 2:14.9!!! Wooo!!
