Mini wins 90 min. Enduro
Mini friends,
My # 53 Mini just won it's first enduro on October 3rd. The race was part of the Grand Bayou series held at NPR (No Problem Raceway).
The field consisted of 2.0 liter & under, 3.0 liter & under (our class) & super production cars over 3.0 liters.
I put the car on the pole with a 1:24.3, drove the first stint & when I pitted for the mandatory 5min stop, we had a 2-lap lead on the entire field.
Our pit stop was flawless & only required refueling.
my co-driver Roberto Aranha from Brazil, took the second stint maintaining our two-lap lead. The car was excellent!
Next races include another enduro at NPR, Barber in november with the BMWCCA and Roebling road with BMWCCA in December.
