Well the winner doesn't surprise me, or second place, but my boy Jenson came in third. Get this kid in a great car and they'll start handing him trophy's every race. I said it the first race he was in and I'll keep saying it. Watch this kid - he's going somewhere FAST.

Took a peek, watched the last two laps, looked like a good ole *** whipping.....AGAIN......gonna be a looooooong year for everyone but Ferrari, Schumi and the tifosi........don't think I'll bother watching the entire replay......Honda had a big motor last year, seems like the car has taken some serious leaps forward......

Perhaps the technical end at BAR benefited from the drastic windfall of cash with the "retirement" of JV...

Always thought he was more burden for the team he raced for than an asset and I don’t miss him a bit.

yahooo!!!

F1 is back

McLaren just plain sucks

My biggest disappointment is Fisi, although if the rumours are true Massa did have a year with "new" Sauber being a test driver with Ferreri last year.

Gasgoyne's impact will probably be seen next year at Toyota and hopefully the second half of this year

BTW, Bahrain has a beautiful racetrack don't you agree?

I love having one of my teams win and being consistent about it too. (lifetime NY Knicks fan here BTW) I can't understand what's going on right now in the world of F1. It's been almost 4 full years of Ferrari dominance, and the others are all STILL playing catch up? I'm not disappointed in the sport or the FIA or anything else others seem to nit pick on, but i'd hoped that the other big budget teams (McLaren, Williams, BAR, Jaguar, Toyota) would have had enough by now. I'll watch no matter what and i'll still be a proud tifoso, but just like the Yankees and the Lakers, the world will soon start to hate Ferrari if nobody else steps up soon. I love a good dynasty and it can be very much appreciated but the competition is what's exciting.

totally agree!! i like the straightaways and the sharp turns, the wear on the brakes (glowing red rotors rock!) and i like that at some angles you could see other cars going around the track in the background. sand and heat will definitely make a good test for cars in the future races.

Major Tifosi in my home. We lived through the black years (1980 - 1999) when it seemed that everytime we had a potential champion, (Giles Villeneuve, Didier Pironi, Patrick Tambay, Rene Arnoux, Alan Prost, Nigel Mansell, Jean Alesi, Gerhart Berger, etc.) something dreadful conspired to keep the Scudieri from bringing home the goods. So now with the possibility of Schumi winning an unprecedented five in a row for us, yea, I'm still excited about it. Truth be told, Schumacher could even turn Minardi into winners. Just give him a few years and let him bring his buddies Ross Brawn and Rory Burn along to play too.

Bet you anything attendance will be down a good 15%. Remeber you heard it here first.
On Bahrain......I wonder if the trend has started....away from the West (cigarrette money is awfully powerful) and into these tracks where there is no one there but hey, there is the television........ I wonder if in 5 years F 1 will be a TV only show, only on pay TV and in front of not a whole lot of spectators....or very few of them anyway.......

Well, let's see...P1 in four races...Michael, Michael, Michael, and Michael...

...but Imola was not a Ferrari sweep, Button was second, Montoya third.

Catalunya in 9 days....

Jenson qualified on pole, great run too!
Jenson had a great start and led i think the first 9 laps and then of course Mikey took over.

1.M.Schumacher
2.J.Button
3.J.P.Montoya

i laugh at Montoya because he's crying about being 3rd @ BMW/Williams meanwhile his "new" team McLaren can barely finish a race this year. Oh yeah, JPM, way to go, the future's so bright isn't it?

hey COOPERation, how are you. i don't have tix yet but as soon as i figure out exactly who i'm going with this year, i'l buy the tix online, without JV there are a lot of tix still available, i'm going one way or another. hope to see you there!

hey Dan...we'll need to touch base as it gets closer...I'm starting to get that urge to go already...usually happens after Imola.

cheers!

During the San Marino race it was noted that it was the 10th anniversary of that dark weekend when Roland Ratzenberger and Ayrton Senna crashed and died, I remember it all to well. But just in case anyone wants to relive it or didn’t experience it when it happened this Saturday on Speed network on the F1 DECADE show (11:00 pm EST) they will be showing the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix.

OK...boring season so far, but on the eve of the start of the Monaco weekend I'm wondering about this new pit area on the waterfront...looks as if the pit "in" is straight on from the chicane after the tunnel, but what about pit "out"?

that picture looks like it's a convoluted mess

Ryan's Fearless Prediction: JPM wins (even if he does downplay it by whining a bit)

That's funny, Ryan!

Poor JPM, this season is royally sucking for him. But he should just shut up and drive.

I never thought I would say this but, I'm getting less interested in F1 and more and more hooked on MotoGP.

Go Texas Tornado!!!!

Most observers, even many Ferrari fans may claim this to be another boring season but twenty years from you will look back and marvel at what Schumi and Ferrari have accomplished. I sincerely doubt we will see again our lifetime the accomplishments repeated and exceeded, this is truly a remarkable time to be an F1 fan.

I'm hoping for a never happened before "Clean Sweep" by der Weltmiester. Seems I can not get enough of Schumi's winning ways. I've seen Schumi vistories in six of the ten grands prix I've attended. Hoping for another on June 20th, as well as this week-end in Monaco; in Canada and of course all season long. This year should be a Ferrari-fest for they have the fastest, most reliable car, and as Schumi is driving as well as or better than ever before number 7 should be assured by the beginning of July.

Ferrari, Ferrari, Ferrari
