Suggestions for pedal replacements?

We’ve all seen the cheap Pep Boy pedal replacements/covers to make your car look like a race car... unfortunately they usually end up in some F150... lol.

I have a couple of questions...

1) Do they really help? I already heel-toe when shifting but I’ve seen some of the higher end “covers” have extensions which obviously would make it that much easier.

2) If so, any suggestions for a good set? I’m weary of installing a set of “covers” on my pedals by a little screw/bolt holding it on. While I’m on the track, the last thing I want is my foot to slip because of some stupid cover.

Thoughts, suggestions?

Thanks,

Mark

I'm surprised no one has added or tried pedal covers. I was hoping that before I spent 200-300 bucks on a set that someone would verify they are worth the money.

I would highly reccommend http://ultimatepedals.com/. I have a set and they are great. It makes heel/toe much easier.
As you cruse thru this site note that you can configure any set of pedals from different auto's to make up a set. I used the MINI extended gas pedal and left foot rest but used clutch and brake from a ferrari.
They will even engrave them for you if you wish.

Thanks bud, I will look into them. I don't want them to be like some Pep Boys add-on, I was hoping for functionality. I'll look into the link you sent.

Thanks,

Mark
