So I've been wanting to push my MINI a bit more and was wondering where around Long Island, NY I might find some decent Autocross and tracks. I know nothing of either and waqs just hoping to find some locations and get the lowdown on how I would go about joining up with the people there. Thanks.

You should also check out the Local Porsche club, they hold events at the Nassau Colosseum and also at Tobay beach during the non beach season, I can tell you Tobay is one of the best lots in the area besides the NJ Meadow lands to Autocross in.
