Racing on a budget can very trying at times, espcially when you hit a wall your first weekend out!
Minibeast is back together. Not as pretty as she once was (still due a trip to the body shop) but she's ready to get back on the track this weekend with an event at Moroso Motorsports Park, Florida. Also looks like she may make it onto Speed channel later on in the month if the film crew makes it out for the weekend.
See you kids out on the track!

 

Minibeast did it's self proud this weekend. First in class (R8) for all three races.
Was pleasantly surprised by the performance of the Toyo RA1 tires. They were a little slippery for the first race but were well broken in by the second.
Once again kudos to Foreign Affairs Motorsports mechanics and staff for helping me get the car preparred. It would not have been out running if not for them.
Kudo's also to Toyo tires for coming through with a set tires to fit my wheels in time for the races.
They both made for a very happy racer this weekend!

My name is Paulo Diniz, I'm also road racing my '03 Cooper S here in Louisiana.
We have a 1.8 mile road course near Baton Rouge that is perfect for the Minis.
Currently ther are two Minis racing in the bracket series.

We would welcome more Minis in our series if you could make the drive.
