Will we see a mini in Speedvision Cup?
are you refering to the Speed Touring and GT Series - formerlly called World Challenge?
If so you may see a MINI Cooper in it but I highly doubt you will see an S...due to the rules only NA cars are allowed in the Touring class and the GT is frankly a bit too much for the S - this is where the Vipers, Vettes, NSX, Ferraris, M3s race...I would have to go back and re read the rules on what is and isn't allowed so not sure how close to competitive the Cooper would be in the touring class or even if the Cooper S in the GT Class could have enough done to it to prevent itself from being embarassed.
Guess we will have to stick to the Grand Am Cup for now

Grand American (www.grandamerican.com) Grand-Am Cup is not based on the World Challenge Series.
In the Cup ST-1 division, the S's of Nuzzo, Sterling, and Competition Associates race against Z4's, Integras, Lexus and others. It's the first year for all the MINI teams so they have a steep learning curve, especially in reliability. The speed is also not quite there although Nuzzo has been at the front during races.

I never said that the Grand American Cup was based on the former World Challenge series - I said the Speed Touring and GT series were. You had already answered the question about the grand am cup - but since the original post was a bit vague on what series they meant I figured I would cover the bases and answer it based on Speed TVs main series - the Touring and GT Series.
Ah soooo.
I just reread your first post and realized you were clarifying minifletch's question.
Anyway, the more racing MINIs on TV the better!

I know you're refering to the Cup with the Realtime Integras, BMWs, etc.
I doubt it. It was said earlier, I think the series allows only non-boosted motors. A Cooper entry would have to be pretty well developed---and still fit within their sanctions. Plus for a MINI to beat a BMW on TV televised nationally...
Would pi$$ off a few NABMW corporates.
