I had the privilege and honor of meeting Phil Hill and talking with him at a few different events for MG's, and at the Monterey Historics.
Consummate gentleman.
We was so approachable, and willing to talk to anyone about cars and racing.
Another childhood hero past.

A sad time as the pioneering greats depart this mortal coil - champ Phil Hill, driver and Lotus legend Ian Walker, motorsport photojournalist extraordinaire Bernard Cahier and now word that even the days of fave everyman Paul Newman are numbered.
