bless yer heart sir - that's like shooting ducks in a barrel

go to https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/search.php and select the Racing and Competition forum from the list lower right, and then type "megan" in the keywords box, and hit Search. There's plenty there.

It depends a lot upon what level you want to compete at in autocross, and what class you want to be in.

I'm fairly certain that with coilovers on a MINI, you'd wind up in an SCCA class where even the most expensive coilover in the world won't be enough for you to win. But, I could be wrong. Or, you could not really care about competitiveness.

I have ridden in a Bilstein PSS9 equipped MINI on the track, and was mighty impressed.

I've heard good things about Cross coilovers, but haven't experienced them myself.

I definitely think it's a case of "you get what you pay for". And in the autocross world, there's all sorts of issues with car classing to worry about (or not worry about, if you don't care about how competitive you are).

I had Bilstein PSS9's with a 19mm H-Sport bar on 215/45/17 RE01Rs and a conservative alignment - the car was very easy to drive to the edge and easy to correct once past. I swapped to Cross with a 22mm R-Speed bar (same tires)...we'll see how it does. I hope it's at least as capable and predictable.
