Just looked at my wheel spacers as I'm loading up for tomorrow's event. I am actually only running the 5/8" spacer, not the 3/4" as I incorrectly stated earlier. Tire to strut is a line to line fit using 1/2" spacers, I moved up to 5/8" spacers to give myself some breathing room. That is all I needed. MaitlandImports, you might be OK with a .6" spacer after all. Sorry for spreading bad information!

A small black rub mark on the yellow paint, no visible damage to the tire and no rubber chunks melted to the strut like I've seen on some stock class cars. I think you'd be asking for trouble using a smaller spacer, but every setup is different. I originally fitted a 5/8" spacer to try, it was essentially a line to line fit from sidewall to strut at rest, thats why I opted for the 3/4" spacer.

I'm running the BBS 75mm studs from Turner.

So awesome! How'd they handle?

Where do you usually run? Is that up with NORA?

They handled pretty darn good given that they were someone else's throw aways last year I milked them thru 3 events so far and they are toast! I have a couple new one's on backorder with Tirerack, I expect that fresh Hoosiers handle better than steel belt and cord

Yep, that was with NORA out at Northfield Park. I wander around from club to club, sometimes with NORA, or with the Vettsports club at Lorain, or NWOR in Toledo, or MOSCC in Mansfield, and hopeful I'll be able to hit a couple NEOhio events this year too. It's awesome to have options most every weekend in our area!

Yah and things have been picking up recently too. For a while there NEOhio went a little quiet with only a few small events, but they seem to be back up and running. I used to run with NORA and the Akron area SCCA group.

Shoot me a PM if you find yourself coming over towards NEOhio for an autocross run. I'd love to shoot some photos of your car running through the cones

Just curious, for those that don't mind sharing(I am sure some do mind, can't blame them), what kind of spring rates are you guys running with these 275 Hoosiers? I wish I had that option back in 06! Looks like a ton of fun!!!! If only I had unlimited monies, I'd keep the Evo and build another Mini too!!! ;-)

Also, I watched the Blue Mini at the Prosolo Finale, it really looked fantastic and I am sure it is a hoot to drive!

I am running 450lb in the front and 400 in the rear. Works nice, less body roll, but still getting it dialed in. Got to get the OS Giken working right to eliminate tire spin out of the corners. I have been able to drop front camber down with the new set up....

As we stand now, I'm planning on being up at Toledo Express on 6/3. No Hoosiers though, I "detuned" a little bit this year for STX.
