Whistling Noise, a different one
This is FYI.
I heard this noise twice, once after a 20 minute drive and a short stop last week, Sunday, once after a 30 minute drive and a short stop last Saturday when I recorded it. It goes away when you drive away.
They took my car in Tuesday and were able to reproduce the sound. They said it was a known issue, they have ordered parts [valve cover?] that are expected to take about 10 days. They said something about a misfunctioning valve and pressure releasing through the oil filter housing.
They were awfully nice to me! They said I should be ok to take the car on a short road trip.
It sounds like this.
