Good to be back.

Oh no....shows how unfamiliar we are about all of this. Can someone in the know move our post over to "2nd gen JCW"? Thanks!

After searching for 6 months we finally found the "right" car for us...a one owner, 2013, JCW, Roadster with 12,300 miles...factory stock! Originally we started our search looking for a JCW Coupe but that path continually led us to either higher mileage, multiple owner, modified cars, or cars which had accident history or were just too far away to easily put our eyes on......which is the only way I'll buy a car. Our back story during this search was that if a JCW Roadster or GP presented itself, while meeting our purchase criteria and remaining within our budget, we would certainly consider purchasing either one of those models as well. The Roadster won! Anyway, she's tucked in tight after getting a clay bar treatment and thorough detailing inside and out over the weekend. My inquiring neighbors all perceived the Mini in our driveway to be "brand new", yet a bit of an anomaly with its unusual look. That is exactly what we wanted to hear.

There has been a 9 year gap since we sold our last Mini so I am sure the questions are going to pop up as to: What is this for?, What does that do?, or How do you do that? Our last Mini ownership experience was a hoot and we hope this one is too....to be continued.....

Whine not Walnuts,

I know...I know. I used to have an sc car. That has to account for something.

Ah-ha...Fuquay-Varina. My sister & brother-in-law had a home in nearby Cary but 2 years ago relocated a little further north to be closer to their business (own/operate a UPS Store) in Chapel Hill. Great area, great climate and great people!

Thank you for setting me in the right place.

Just posted up a pic. Been wondering how many of these JCW Roadsters might have been sold in the US in 2013.....
