The BMW dealer in Fort Wayne has a white JCW on the lot and I am just wondering if anyone in the area might have knowledge of the car? I am seriously considering buying it sight unseen and shipping it home.

Thanks!

So, I found out the car has been repossessed previously and this dealership bought the car at auction last March. I asked to see if they can get the maintenance records, not that there should be much as the car only has 8k miles. Something tells me that someone who allows their car to get repossessed may not be the best at changing their oil… My guess is that the car did not have a loving owner, though maybe that isn't the case.

Hopefully the maintenance records reveal something positive. At the end of the day though, this car does have a story, no matter how small, and I need to make sure I don't overpay for it. Wondering a little if this would be a larger risk than dealing with the N14 motor, which may not be an issue at all if I stay on top of things

Any advice is appreciated!

It was sold and serviced in New York. Only service was a fuel sensor at 134 miles, no other MINI dealer service.

Definitely appreciate this information. I would have liked to have seen an early oil change, but many owners probably wouldn't have done that.

Thank you
