Can somebody please brief me regarding the stage upgrades for MINI JCW? Im confused w/c is which. What does Stage 1 include? stage 2 and 3?

If you buy an ECU is it part of stage 1 upgrade? How many HP can each stage upgrade contribute to the car? I was recommended to get an Alta Access port and I saw from their website that they are selling it also in packages (either w/ air filter, intercooler or cat back exhaust). Any feedback on these mods...

Each aftermarket equipment manufacturer has typically a different "definition" of what each Stage does...

Stage 1 JCW - ECU programming through an AccessPORT
Stage 2 JCW - ECU programming through an AccessPORT + turboback exhaust system
Stage 3 JCW - ECU programming through an AccessPORT + turboback exhaust system + boost tube + front mount intercooler

Hands down the AccessPORT is the best bang for buck power modifications on the N14 engine.
