JCW Clubman in SoCal, Trade-in?

I'm having trouble navigating this site so figured I'd post here. I have had my JCW clubman for sale and as far as I can tell there is zero market for it. It is a very well optioned 2009 (nav, xenon, premium, etc etc etc) with low mileage (28K) and listed way below others and I have gotten only one call after 8 weeks on Autotrader. It's going to Carmax in a couple of weeks. Just wanted to pass along my experience because one of the reasons I bought a Mini was the supposed high residual value but I would have to say that is not the case with a JCW clubman at least.

Lower the price.JCW versions of the Clubman tend to have lower demand.

The clubman is a niche market and the jcw is also a niche market.
So your market is a double niche. You may be better off trading it in. A bit less money. But way less of a headache. Just one persons opinion.

I know guys. It looks like I will probably sell it to Carmax. I've already got it priced 5K less than comps. I'm going to give it a couple more weeks then it's gone. I wish there was someone like me around ready to sell at a huge bargain when I bought her

When you trade a car in at carmax, is it just like trading in at the dealer where they dont even drive it? Just look at it and check the mileage?
