Clutch Clicking?

Hello,

I'll apologize in advance if there is an existing post on this topic, however after a search I did not find an answer/discussion.

I'm not sure why I haven't noticed this sooner, but when I press and depress my clutch pedal I notice a click, so to speak. It seems to be more noticeable when pressing down vs. releasing. Is this normal? If not, what might some of the issues/concerns be?

Thanks
G

Mine is doing the same thing, I took it in and they told me the clutch bushings on the clutch pedal are bad. They had to order the bushings and I haven't had a chance to take it back in for replacement yet...

Mine did it as well and I took it in under warranty a month or so back. It just started to do it one day after I had about 5,000 miles on the car. Some days it was worse that others. It usually did it when I pressed down on the clutch pedel. I could feel it ckick through my shoe as well. The Mini dealer told me this is a more common problem that Mini is aware of. They had my car for the day and now it is fine.

I would take it in and get it fixed because the clicking is really annoying.

hmmm RJB, maybe it just happens to red cars.

Well I finally got my car in for it's 1 year service and had the clutch pedal fixed. According to the dealer it only needed lubricated. It seems to be working fine (at least for now...)
