I was washing my dashboard and found out that my piano black interior surface has little dents, never the less, you can only see them when the light heats the surface. Has anyone had this problem before? I just received my JWC a week a go and had not realize this out until now.

I'm sorry to hear that. Are the dents wavy or dimples?

My '09 MC piano black interior panels looks to have what looks like paint overspray. Not sure how to take them out. I was thining of claying it, but i think it wuld cause major spiderwebbing.

If any one know a safe was go getting rid of the residue, I would greatly appreciate it. It could possibly be the adhesive left behind from the protective plastic on the glossy finish prior to delivery.

 

My dents are dimpled, and when you stroke the dashboard you can´t feel them. They are just apparent when the light hits the panel in certain ways.

 

I don't have any dents, but the trim is a pain to keep clean and to keep finger prints off of it

 

I haven't seen any dents on mine. I keep a MF cloth in the car for fingerprints. I did notice some light scratching, but upon applying some Amigo (polish) they disappeared.

 

No dents here either.

 

I had some discoloration on intior black surfaces of the JCW that I picked up on 11/22/08. The dealership was able to get rid of the marks.

 

No dents or scratches observed to date. Frequent finger prints on the secret compartment hatch, but I keep a detail cloth handy in my door pocket. My biggest problem is yellow lab fur on the black upholstery!

Although I am unfamiliar with the warranty procedures in Mexico I would imagine the dimpled piano black interior surfaces would be covered under the factory warranty.Contact your dealership's Service Advisor and make an appointment to have it inspected and replaced.
