Snow Setup - Ready

Installed my winter wheel and tire setup since winter showed up this week. I am very happy with the offset and caliper clearance. I opted for the LM-25 since they have served me well in the past. Hopefully my JCW will see limited time in the snow, but ready none the less.

Couple pics to share:

It's just beautiful, that's why I asked. My dad's a mechanic, so seeing books and lifts and cement floors and such makes me want to go get my hands dirty doing something--anything!

I still have fantasies of living in an industrial part of town and having a place like that be my makeshift studio apartment and vehicle garage. Kinda like the place that Johnny Blaze had in Ghost Rider. Very cool.

What are the winters like in Ohio? Will your MINI be your year-round car?

Thank you for the compliments. Yes, the MINI was purchased to be my DD, but I usually have some inventory around to keep my cars out of the nasty stuff . We are right on Lake Erie so we do get a lot of lake effect. Actually we are getting snowed on right now!

Hey, hey... another LM-25 user! I just put some on about a month ago, but have seen limited snow/ice time so far.

How are they when the deep/thick stuff comes?

Lookin' good BTW!

I would have to guess you're talking about the LM-25 Bridgestone Blizzak tires, but what size tires & which wheels ?

You will be very happy when the thick stuff comes. Just make sure to turn the DSC off when you are in inches of the white stuff!

Yes, it is the blizzak (factory size) and I am a huge Bridgestone fan.

Dedicated wheel and tire pacakge. I just find it easier to swap around when I want!
