Very good question. I have not heard anything as of yet. I wonder IF it will even be offered. Mini canned both the JCW suspensioin and aero package when they released the '09 clubman.

There will be no JCW Suspoension for the Clubman

MINIUSA has no intention to create a JCW suspension package for the R-55 Clubman. They based their decision on the lack of sales of the JCW Suspension package for the R-56 Coupe. Because of these low sales, they projected that the Clubman would create even less sales opportiunities than the coupe. Accordingly, they have decided not to offer the package for the Clubman.

I'm guessing that you could purchase the JCW shocks and sway bars for the Clubman, using the parts numbers for the R-56 Coupe pieces; but you'd have to guess on the springs....more for the rears than the fronts.

Too bad that the JCW suspension will n ot be avaiulable for the Clubman.....especially the JCW model.

is the jcw suspension worth it for the jcw hardtop? I am not crazy about how little it lowers the car and have not had much driving time on it as well to make an accurate assessment. Would i get more out of a different aftermarket suspension?

Of course you'll get more response in the Mods/Suspension forum but here's my opinion (I have an MCS and don't track): The weak link of the JCW is the suspension according to test drivers. They generally hate it for a car that powerful designed to go faster. The JCW suspension (about $1200 parts, $2000 installed) is a decent value compared to buying that stuff ala carte, and maintains the warranty. It lowers the car about .5" which is probably enough. Springs that lower it more than an inch mean the car will hit bottom much more easily. On a track you don't care, but on the street it gets annoying. Buyer beware.
The best mod for the money is a 19mm rear antisway bar, maybe 21-22mm if you lower the car with springs too and know how to drive fast. If you're on a budget you can start there, see how you like it, and save for springs next, then dampers. There is no aftermarket front sway bar for the R56.
