Max tire width on the Challenge Spoke?

Anyone put a wider tire on their Challenge Spoke wheel yet? I need to dump these run flat POS's STAT and want to get as much rubber on as possible. With 205/45/17 being stock. has anyone gone 215 or even 225? Rubbing issues? Spacers required?

TIA

What is the wheel width and offset? Also depends on what tire aspect ratio you want to use. I suspect the width is 7", if so the maximum recommended width (per Tire Rack) is 215 for a 35 series and 225 for a 40 series. It is recommended that a 225/35 use a 7.5" wheel. The wheel offset will help determine if there will be inside or outside rubbing issues.

I'm assuming that it's a 17x7, I haven't found a thread that talks about the offset yet. Anyone know?

That seems backward to me. 215/40 and 225/35 makes more sense since that keeps the ratios more similar

Difference should be minimal:

215 x 40% = 86
225 x 35% = 78.75
(difference of 7.25 mm sidewall height)

but
215 x 35% = 75.25
225 x 40% = 90
(difference of 14.75 mm in sidewall height)
