Side Scuttle

Anyone have a close up of the standard JCW side scuttle. Anyone put out the bucks for the JCW one? How much does dealer charge to install?

I ordered the JCW side scuttles, and there was zero charge for install at the time of purchase. Not sure if they would charge after the fact. The accessories guy said that they take a matter of minutes to put in.

Just install it yourself, it took me literally 5 min to change out both sides on mine and I had never done it before.

How do you remove them. Could you please give me a short step by step?

1. Open favorite alcoholic beverage, drink and enjoy.
2. Pull hood release lever inside car.
3. Feel around the underside of the hood (middle of the hood) for the hood release lever, push up.
4. Raise hood.
5. At the scuttle, gently push forward towards the front of the car at the lens end. It will move about forward 1 inch.
6. Lift up away from the car body about 3 inches
7. Disconnect light by turning the light 3/4 turn while holding the scuttle stationary.
8. Replace original scuttle with modified scuttle and reverse process stopping at step 4, then skipping to step 1.
9. Congratulations, you have just completed your first mod.

Only step #1 is required. Admire work for 2 hours before driving.
