The black interior is smashing! I have inquired about aftermarket black speedo/tach gauge face plates. About $125 for the parts and local euro mechanic quotes me $180 for the labor. A bit pricey, I think. I have no problems dismantling the tach, but the speedometer looks a bit labor intensive for my ability. Anybody out there with any experience doing this, or ideas?

Thanks again for the kind words
I just sent him an e-mail to find out some pricing and order info. I love my carbon fiber. I primarily use CARBONMINI for my CF needs, but they do not produce some of the stuff I want. They are steadily developing more CF products.

Plus a lot more on the outside.

Minmin2010, where did you get the steering wheel! It appears not to be the NVD carbon one?

Congrats Thomas! I'm almost ready to order one too, just trying to decide on colors and options!

Anyone have pictures of White Silver with Chili Red roof? I saw some on the forums but I'd like to see more under different lighting.

Thanks and congrats again Thomas!

The amount of colors/combos/things you can do with these cars is enough to make you =

You'll love it when you get it though, regardless.

Surrendered my S as a lemon 2 weeks ago.

Post pics of your Factory JCW MINI-image-1991117246.jpg

Drove 4.5 hours and picked up my very own JCW yesterday.

^ Wow, very nice. That color combo is really good. So what's the story behind your MCS?

That is a really nice combo Having owned both an 'S' and the JCW, share your thoughts on the differences.

Thanks!

My S was a CPO. 2 and a half years of owning it, just gave me problems. Water pump, HPFP, Thermostat, Xenon headlights breaking, 1 engine replacement (this one was my brothers fault), chain tensioner, and then another engine needed. 2nd time around I decided the car was a lemon. I got a lawyer and won my case.

Thanks. As far as diff I'd say that I just love the options that my JCW came with. I'm still breaking it in but the car is very smooth. I'm not sure if I can compare since my S was CPO and it was a lemon. But I'd have to say that JCW is a whole'nother car.

I think I know what you mean, I drove both back to back and settled on the JCW. On paper, the differences might not look like much, but as a whole as you state...it's "a whole'nother car". Enjoy

I surrendered my 2008 "S" a few months ago and got a JCW too. What was wrong with your S?

Nice! Everything was wrong with it...water pump, HPFP, thermostat, timing chain, and it needed new motor after it was just replaced 11 months back. What was wrong with yours?
