2019 MINI Countryman S - Oil change
Hi guys,
First of all, I'm a beginner at car maintenance and MINI.
I'm preparing for an oil change and researching parts about oil change.
Below lists are I found the oil parts and other parts.
I wonder if this is the right part for my MINI.
2019 MINI Countrman S (F60), USA, 2018/10, Engine type B46 (B46A20A)
1. Oil Filter
-. Part Num: 11428570590, Brand: MANN, HU 6015 X KIT
-. Part Num: 11428570590, Brand: MAHLE, OX815/1D
2. Oil Drain Plug
-. Part Num: 11131273093
3. Cabin Filter
-. Part Num: 64316835405, Brand: Genuine MINI
-. Part Num: 64316835405, Brand: MANN CUK23005-2
4. Air Filter
-. Part Num: 13718513944, Brand: Genuine MINI
-. Part Num: 13718513944, Brand: MANN C22018
PS. However, where is the oil check level gauge of the 2019 BMW MINI countryman s?
Thank you for reading my post.

You do not have to change the oil drain plug. The Oil filter kits have a new copper washer included. All you need to do is to replace that copper washer on the drain plug.
You will make your filter change much easier if you get a "low profile" 32 mm Socket. If you don't have one, it's not going to be easy to get the filter housing loose, nor will it be easy to get it tightened. Find a couple of YouTube videos for the "tricks" to draining that filter without making such a mess. Pay attention to how the filter clips into the cannister housing, as well as how the filter center piece slides upon the filter pipe on the engine side. If you are not familiar with the torque required to tighten this filter, or the drain plug, get a torque wrench and learn how to use it before snugging down the filter housing or the drain plug...you don't want leaks, but, perhaps just as importantly, you don't want to strip the threads!
It's not hard, but, there is finesse involved with modern day equipment, partly because of space constraints, partly because of component materials.

YouTube is a great resource for a how-to on the oil change, since you mentioned you’re a newbie at this. Also, be sure you pick up the correct oil. The oil spec that MINI specifies can be hard to find unless you buy it from a dealer or online. Just a heads up on that. Also, if you don’t have a torque wrench, be very mindful of how tight you make the drain plug and the filter housing. You absolutely can overdo both and then you have big problems on your hands.
EDIT: thought I’d add the oil specs. For the 2019 cars, MINI says the oil must be either BMW LL-01 FE or BMW LL-14 FE+. The oil spec was updated in I think 2020 or 2021 and is now BMW LL-17 FE+ or something like that. Anyway, the newest version is backwards compatible, and in my experience is a bit easier to find if you’re not purchasing the oil from a MINI or BMW dealer. My go-to is Liqui Moly’s Top Tec 6600.
