Yes it will fit and you will get that feedback noise.
69-2026TTK We have it in stock most of the time and this is what it looks like in person. The new F56 engines have a different sound to them than the older MINI turbos. Its kind of like a deeper tone.

Other than sound, does this kit, which they call a "performance intake," actually improve performance on the B46/48 cars? Is air intake temp lower, especially in stop-and-go? Is air volume/density taken in by the cylinders increased? If so, by what measurement process has this been documented? Does anyone have before/after dyno data using same car, same dyno, same day, same intercooler and turbo ambient temp, same atmosphere ambient temp? Or does it just look and sound good?

Does anyone know if the K&N dyno test was done with the hood open or closed? Same with AWE's. There is a big difference in air temp when the hood is open.

I remember from back in my SVT Contour days, that ALL open air element filters for that car had a negative effect on HP due to air intake temps. At one of our local meets we did a side-by-side comparison by reading the intake air temps directly off the ECU, the open air element (with hood closed) was something like 40 deg F higher when moving and as much as 90 deg F warmer when idling. The increased intake temps more than offset the CFM increase. The stock style replacement filter was actually better due to pulling cooler air from the fender well.

K&N informed me they did it with the hood up on the dyno.

The great thing about the world of add-on mods is people get to do what they want.
So, if you want the sound and don't care about higher intake air temp and your butt dyno is able to feel a few added horses in the upper RPM band, and you don't have better use for your $, and you're not at all worried about intake oiling issues from the filter oil....
Having said that, I did do a K&N mod on my Jag V-12, which gets VERY hot under the bonnet. The stock intake air silencers were narrow and collected air from inside the engine compartment. Changed the silencers out for larger diameter ducting that collects air from outside the engine compartment and, yes, added K&N filters. Better acceleration, no more knocking after stop-and-go, and, yes, a better growl on hard acceleration.
So I am a BIG fan of snagging intake air from outside the engine compartment and I'm not a K&N hater. Yet, somehow, that little needle on my BS meter begins to twitch when I read some of these intake claims. Must just be me being old and grumpy.

Being skeptical is not a 'bad' thing and certainly grows with age/experience...ask me how I know.
Has anyone noticed the two rectangular shaped holes on the underside of the hood that almost magically match up the two intake runs from the stock intake system?? I wonder if there was a plan on having a functioning hood scoop for air intake. Too cold/crappy for me to spend any time looking at it, but it does seem to be somewhat of a deliberate feature.
