Retrofit Sport Steering Wheel Shifters

I found this part at ECS:

https://www.ecstuning.com/Mini-2015-...15A/ES2734185/

Does anyone have experience fitting this part on a JCW steering wheel that came from the factory without paddle shifters? Is there a socket to plug in the wire?

Have not seen it done , but this is what people did on the R56-R61 version. Based off that you would be in new territory, I would think the steering wheels on the F56 would be the same under the skin.

If you have paddle shifter already , might work. If you dont , I think the wires are there for the lock switch, just dont know if it can be coded.

ECS:

For part # 32306865135 that you sell does it come with the shifters or is it just the steering wheel?

I see you also have part # 32306865134. Can you take a picture of the back of both wheels and let me know?

For reference this is the wire for shifters: https://www.ecstuning.com/Search/Sit...896/ES2734542/

Thanks!

We dont have the part in stock to picture at this time.

Some info here of the two steering wheels : They look almost exactly alike, just has the cutout on the back. Which they should be set up like Gen 1 and Gen 2 MINI steering wheels in the past.

Alright let me know when you get it in stock. I am interested to see whether the wheel itself already comes with the paddles.
