F55/F56 Week 27 build -- this is your status thread!
Oh man, on one hand I'm really sorry to hear that. But on the other, I'm really happy to hear that because it means my MA isn't just blowing smoke. I don't understand his use of "cryptic." It's not String Theory. Someone must have real reasons for the hold-up. But if you are experiencing the same, it does indeed sound like it is something 2015 related. Totally stinks. Thank you so much for replying and help keep my blood pressure in the tolerable range.

I just have to wait longer, but I bet the MA is really bummed. I doubt mine was the only '15 he was expecting before the end of the month so he is watching his wallet shrink since it doesn't count as a sale until I drive off the lot. Plenty of bummed to go around.
Wow, that must be incredibly discouraging - especially after the excitement of getting out of Southampton so quickly. I wonder whose SNAFU this is. 2015s must be really piling up.
Are you sure? A lot of us thought we weren't on a ship only to find out we were - about a week after the ship sailed due to lack of tracking info.
For those of you due in Brunswick this week; check out this link for where your car will unloaded: Google Maps
Yea Becky, I saw that you and others were on boats before you knew it. But I have checked WWL daily, called my dealer, checked the lounge, and called mini USA. Nobody can tell me anything other than it has completed production. I hope you are right obviously. But it would seem that if everyone else knows by now I should.

Guys- there is always a delay at the beginning of the model year because they have to wait for EPA certification before they can release the cars. Sometimes it takes a few days and other times it can take a few weeks. Here's to hoping they get clearance soon because my car will be shipping any day now.

I haven't kept track of the K-line schedule after Columbia Highway. If one has left since 7/21 or so, it's still possible nothing has been updated so no one knows anything. Just FWIW, I knew my car had shipped before my dealer did. He checked on 7/17 and there was nothing. When I checked the next day I found out it was halfway here. According to the ship's info, it left Southampton 6 days prior to anyone knowing anything. It never showed up in WWL. I even had a booking number from someone for Grand Duke, and my VIN wasn't listed. But I was on it. I hope it goes this way for you too. You might be sitting on the dock, but just sayin' it really is possible you are on a ship if a K-line has departed in the last week. I guess time will tell. Good luck. --If you ordered a '15, it's just hurry up and wait right now anyway until someone decides they can be released.
What becky1711 said is true I did not know that I was on the Columbia Highway until July 25th and left Southampton on July 19th
Ditto for me. What are the odds--2 ordered MINIs 7 1/2 years apart, 2 K-Line ships.
it's not a first year issue because they have plenty of time to get those approved before release date while they are holding them at the port. It really pops up during the other model year switchover and only in the first few shipments. They tend to clear them out within a week or two.

I certainly hope that this gets expedited for those of you with vehicles on US soil waiting to be distributed to the selling dealers.
I believe that there may be an issue with the current MPG figures, as all reference to those figures has now been pulled from advertisements, websites and printed materials.
This is correct and not the best news for those waiting to take delivery of their 2015 F56 models. MINI has not completed testing and received the official EPA figures for 2015 models. According to sources, this should be concluded by the week of August 25th. However, this does not mean that they will be released at that time. What I have read suggests a current retail date of October 1st. Without the EPA certification, Monroney stickers cannot be printed and a vehicle cannot be legally sold.
