I'm normally an R50 driver but I'm renting an F55 from fellow MINI owner Ingrid (thanks Ingrid!) for a few months while I sort out the transmission issues on MINIMNT. I'm a pretty big user of the boot of a MINI and the light for this is out in her car. I pulled the fixture out and discovered that the lamp is a standard 194/168/W5W size but it's an 8 watt lamp marked "Toshiba W8W". O'reillys doesnt have them but I did see a 4 digit number in their cross book but didn't write it down, not knowing what a unicorn this lamp is. Found some on an eBay like site from the Phillipines which I do not trust, even for a small sale like this. Plus, I want it before I give the car back.

I know I could put an LED in there but I want to use one that is the right size physically yet bright enough but not too bright. Plus I hate "blue" LED's so a color temperature of 3500 k would be great but no more than 5000 k.

Has anybody found a suitable replacement? I have an extra LED that is a W5W equivalent in there just to have something in there and it's definitely not bright enough.
