So excited for auto cross this Sunday. One of our club members has a tire machine and mounted my "Gollum" set-up wheel and tire package. 225 45 17 on 17x8 wheels. This package looks huge compared to the 205's on 17 x 7.5 I was running. Since the event is Sunday, I will have all day Saturday to tinker on the car and test fit the wheels. I plan to share some pictures. Even with the car greatly improved, I still suck as a driver! It's a process and the fun factor is very high. I have been reading a lot about car set-up and find it interesting just how involved shock/damper theory is in motor sport. Learning a lot and enjoying the technical side of car set-up. I am even considering getting corner scales and making a string box for alignment.
