I have to agree with you somewhat. Bought a 2023 S back in November after owning 3 Minis before. The car is amazingly put together and very smooth, but it seems the soul of the Mini has been engineered out of it. I also find the infotainment system to be frustrating and not intuitive. My wife loves it though, so will be keeping it for awhile.

I bought this car back in December and haven’t driven it much. I drove it all week and I’m starting to like it. The quality of this car is top notch and the leather interior is real classy for a little car. The radio controls take some getting used to. The manual sucks and I have found some YouTube videos very helpful.

I happened across your thread here, and after reading it through, I think this post is the key to your woes. I was just going to say that you're just not driving it as much as it needs! I think the more time you spend in the car, the more you'll come to enjoy driving it.
I think you’re right, the weather has been lousy and I would rather not take it out in bad weather. Also, I haven’t had a stick shift in a few years and I wasn’t sure I wanted to shift gears again.
