The sweet pain of torment

I'm still about 2 1/2 years from having my own MINI. I have to wait until my wife's Honda CRV is paid off. But today, along with my 8-year-old son, we test drove a used 2003 Chili Red MCS at Cherry Hill Nissan. There's no MINI dealer in the NJ burbs of Philadelphia, so I jump at a test drive whenever I get a chance. I even got to take it on a twisty road. What a sweet ride. I can't wait to have my own. Sigh..............

Damn. And I was testy waiting 3 months! Best of luck holding out.
I'd be looking more at getting someone to buy out the lease or taking it over. But then hey, that's just me.
Cheers,

Grizz,

I feel your pain. In about 2 1/2 years, I will be adding another driver to the family. Getting another car at that time will make some sense, but, I want a MINI now!! Add to this, the dilemma of the 2007 model year changes to the MINI. Who knows what the MINI will be like in 2007! It will be a real bummer if the new MINI is not as good as the current MINI!

Buy one now then, and lock it up. It'll be like a time capsule in '07.
You guys are stronger than I am. I would snap under that pressure knowing I'd have to wait 2.5 years. There's no way.
Cheers,

That's how long I have been waiting due to various reasons. However, my order is in and I got my production number today I have been on NAM everyday for the last 2.5 years trying to get all the info I could on what to order. I'd like to say it went quick, but it didn't. Be patient, it's worth it

In your position I'd certainly wait to see what the specs of the new 2007 re-designed MINI will be. If you don't like them, you may be able to pick up one of the current designs at a discounted price
