F55/F56 S or JCW as a Daily Driver?
I believe that's correct. But then, there's the Dinan + ECU tune now where they will cover the factory warranty if anything was to happen and shows pretty big gains if anyone wanted to go that route.

You may want to consider the NM power module as an inexpensive (relatively) and trouble free add on to your Mini (if the factory JCW tune is unavailable). Search for the threads on this forum for piggyback tuners and see what you think. It is easily installed and removed as necessary. Dinan (which I have on my M240i is pretty much trouble free), but on the Mini Dinan piggybacks had some reported issues. Almost universal praise on the forum for the NM. Plenty of videos on how to install and remove. There are lots of tuners that provide more power and flexibility, but much depends on your tolerance for fiddling with things if the car starts misbehaving.
