On my 2015 R55, With the AC on, the ac system goes into recirculate (using cabin air) no matter where I set the auto / manual button. It's like it has a mind of it's own! When the AC compressor is off, the auto / manual button works as it should. I assume this is BMW/Mini's way of saving some gasoline. I want the AC to draw from outside air always. I tried to unplug the recirc motor but I can't get my hands at it. Has anyone found a way to do this?
