Bike Rack Prep Retrofit

Has anyone out there retrofitted the bike rack prep onto a car that didn't have it? I can't seem to find much about if it is even possible to do. I am regretting not checking the box for it or the roof rails when I ordered my F56 S.

Closest I can find is this, but it's not the OEM one.

I’ve researched it and you can retrofit the OEM bumper component with the additional mounting point: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...r/51127349623/

There are solutions for bike racks that mount to trailer hitch receivers. Most need a hole cut in the bumper. One company does make a hitch mount that fits between the bumper and the exhaust on a S-model: https://torkliftcentral.com/2017-min...tible-ecohitch

They have an install video that provides a good overview of what's involved with installing any of these solutions:

Your best bet is a Seesucker Rack. I have a 2015 F56 and couldn’t find an option other than Seesucker. Couldn’t be happier with the mount.

VIP custom parts has a retro fit.
I used a King Joe 3 from Yakima on my 2015 JCW. They have optional foam straps that go under the spoiler.
