Having issues shifting, hard to push into gears at times

Not sure what could be going on here. I bought my 2016 F55 used 1.5 years ago by now, it had about 33k miles on it. Since day one, I've felt it was a little tough to shift but wasn't too bad. I think in the last 3-4 months, I feel it's been getting harder to shift, especially first and second. Worse is when I'm on any sort of incline, no matter how small, but it makes going into first nearly impossible... I have to pull back and try to push back into first REALLY hard. Yesterday, I was taking off and trying to shift into second, it was really difficult to get it in, had to pull back out and put back into second really hard. While driving, shifting into third thru six is okay, it just feels like I'm hitting a bit of a wall and it takes a ton of effort to push through, causing me a couple of times to nearly or slightly grind.

I don't have any issues with power, I don't hear or feel anything grinding or making noise when actually shifting successfully. Once it's in gear, it's totally fine. Now that I'm remembering, once or twice when taking off in first, I felt like there was chatter or vibration, kind of shook the car... last time that happened though was maybe 6 months ago.

Also, I recently installed the cravenspeed short shifter. One thing I noticed is that when I have it at the lowest throw, it's near impossible to shift. I had to move it up to about 1/3 up from lowest setting to be able to shift normally.

Any thoughts or ideas? This car is driving me insane, it's been nothing but problems.

Have you checked the bushings on the shift cable ends, at the trans? If those are too sloppy, your actions won't result in the leverage you want. http://bushingfix.com has replacements.

No not yet, I'll have to see how to check for that. I'm still learning as I go with this car in regards to auto repairs, so still a newbie. Thanks!!
