I did an ECU flash on my Mini a couple of months ago. I purchased it through Revolution Motor Works (Jan). I also have a cold air intake with delete pipe through Forge, and a muffler delete. Nothing to fancy, pretty basic mods. The intake and muffler delete really improved the smoothness and sound of the car, but the tune Jan put on my ECU really brought my car to life. It's like a whole different car. It felt like it was getting better and better the first couple of weeks (probably me just getting used to it). I have not put on a dyno as I'm not sure if I want to, but I will say I can feel and hear the difference. Passing is no longer an issue. The car has really come to life. The exhaust sounds raspy and pops/crackles a bit. He included the flash tool so I can pull and reinstall the tune when needed. Jan knows his stuff. If you have a 1.5L and are looking to give it some pep this is a good way to go.
