Also, if you check eBay, there are carbon fiber caps there. They go over the existing caps, not full replacements, but the aftermarket is working on them too.

 

Any chance to double check if the new style 2020 mirror caps will fit on previous models (2014-2019).

Maybe if you have one unit of each model in stock you can check the fitting shape and see if they will be matching.

I will definitely will purchased it thru ECS in case they will fit in.

I have a friend who is a Service Advisor and he confirmed that the 2014-2019 mirror caps will not work on the 2020 mirrors and the 2020 mirror caps will not work on the earlier mirrors. The shape of the mirror itself is slightly different.

 

Correct, just tried my wife's 2021 mirror caps on a 2018.........nope, doesn't fit.
