Hi everyone..
I got Bimmercode and adapter. I was able replace so far side markers bulbs to LED. Also replaced rear turn signals to LED, and finally those two break signals bulbs to LED. And there is the problem.. After doing the breaks bulbs to LED, I only get the bottom half to light up, without the top portion.
I did all the coding in Bimmercode and the upper LEDs are in good working condition (checked)... I cant figure out why the upped half won't light up with breaks being applied?
Forgot that I also activated my rear fog lights (no switch in dashboard) as my additional break lights

Remove the fog lights as brakes and they top brake lights should work again. I had the same issue.

 

So I am guessing there is no way around it? Not even in expert mode?

 

Some people have done it successfully but I haven't been able to get it to function with both the top and bottom brake lights.

 

Get the switch, use the rear fogs as intended.
It really freaks people out when turning on in inclimate weather!!!

FIY, If you video yourself panic stopping, you can see that your turn signals become brake lamps.
