iPhone X Mount for 2018 Mini Cooper S 2dr

I would like to mount my iPhone someplace. I looked at the stock option but it doesn't seem to work past the 2015 models.... hence the question: what mounts are you using to keep your phone "still" while cornering and how are your liking it? Any suggestions for a phone mount would be great. Like to keep the stock look and not have stuff "sucked" to my windshield or dash if possible.

I moved into the Mini from a Crew Max Tundra so the limited space to put things is a bit overwhelming for me.

thanks in advance,

Phil

check out Pro Clip USA or CravenSpeed

I have had many Pro Clip mounts over the years in a variety of different vehicles they work great. And if you change phones its an easy upgrade.

I know your pain. I went from a Cummins Titan XD to my f55 lol. I have the cravenspeed Gemini mount and it’s perfect. It moves easily so you can tuck it away if you want but is super steady when in use.

Another vote for the CravenSpeed mount. It attaches to existing screw mount holes on the back of the tachometer and holds the phone on an adjustable arm to the upper right of the steering wheel.

The X-mount is spring loaded and quite nice; my spouse uses it in their Countryman.

I made a bit of a hack for my F55. Bought the CravenSpeed mount which has a 17mm (“Garmin”) ball mount, and an inexpensive iPhone dock with built in lightning plug for $10 from eBay. Popped it onto the CS mount and it’s a perfect fit.

EDIT: they’re still selling for as little as $10 from a number of vendors: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...phone&_sacat=0

gobadges also has them. I installed one in my R57. Was easy. They also work on F models.
