I think these cars may always be plagued by the unknowing uninformed with an opinion calling them the “C” word and similar. Having owned two, being a guy, and a known car guy people seem to delight in these car shaming slurs. And yes, they’re usually well intended.

And I don’t care one bit. Really. Nothing. I love driving them and enjoy knowing these cars can do what few others can in the right hands. I may have slightly eclectic car tastes. But I know what I like, and at this point in my life don’t care at all what the uninformed think.

For what it’s worth, great colors and it looks like a slick-top from what I can see. More cred from those in the know. 3 pedals and the discussion ends. Get what you like ... and roll on!! I mean Motor On.
