Curious if anyone ordered the JCW Tuner when they ordered their car (and had it installed at the Port of Entry?

If so, would anyone care to share the cost of the kit when purchased this way? I had mine done at the dealership after I took delivery. They wanted nearly $3K. I was able to get them to match the price of the kit from MINIMASS and it saved me a bunch (but still close to $2K out of pocket).

Mini listed the price of the kit @ $1740. If it can be ordered as a Port Installed option @ that price. it would make sense financially to do that rather than have the dealership do it, no?

I recall reading somewhere that some folks ordered @ the same time they ordered their Mini.

I think they charge between $2200 and $2400 installed, though pricing can still be dictated by the dealer. In my experience, it's still cheaper than paying dealer labor rates
