I think... allegedly the Carly app can do this, recode w/o going to the dealer but I haven't tried it

We've seen many people do it and the batteries end up dead in a year or less. Sometimes within a month. Have it registered properly to save doing it again.

So when a dealer recodes it, what happens? Do they have to flash the ECU or something?
