Best Oil Viscosity for MY2014/15?

The title kind of says it all, but what viscosity have folks found to be best to run for MY2014/15?

The last time I got oil changed at the dealer, they put in the new 0W-20 LL14-FE (fuel-efficient) oil. Apparently, this is only approved for 2016 and newer F56s, but they put it in my car anyway

IMO, even while I live in the frigid Northeast, that is some crazy thin oil. I am considering going back to LL-01 0W-30 (for better heat protection) or 5W-30 (for improved tackiness).

Oil flows slower in cold.

Thin oil=Winter
Thick oil=Summer

Engine tolerances have improved over the years, no longer need thick oil like 20/50
