I posted earlier about this vehicle.

I just officially added this one to my collection today and couldn't be more excited. The investment is risky because it has a salvage title and mileage inaccuracies but, whatever, that's not the point of this post!

I'm posting because I'm also going to change the color of the car! My wife and I are moving to Hawaii and this is exactly the car that she wanted, except for the color and wheels.

The paint from this car's repair isn't perfect, so I'm going to take the chance to make it a color my wife will love. We're keeping the white roof and I'll be adding a roof rack and swapping the rims.

If anyone has pics of beachy MINIs or color combos you particularly enjoy I would love to see them! Or, if you have any suggestions getting the car painted I'm all ears as well. We're planning to paint it with the doors closed, so we won't be doing the jams, at least that is our plan. The car will most likely get painted in KC and then driven out to my place in California.

My Dad is the paint expert and my wife will ultimately decide the color. I basically just have the checkbook and an awesome group of friends over at NAM.

I've found ideas here in the aftermarket roof rack. Looks like Thule Aero might work.
